The Circle of Life -The Lion King

From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life

It's the way you look at life

I have just updated my Facebook status to 'What we see is what we are'. Not that I want people to comment or 'like' or 'unlike'..but because I remember it asking (in the old version 'what's on your mind'). And this line, honestly has been on my mind ever since I met this wonderful lady who told me that our life is nothing but a collection of reaction of our paradigms.

Now, what's a paradaigm? It is the way we look at the world based on the conditioning, beliefs created in us. To me, this was a life-redefining moment. This basically meant:
1. Everybody is right from their perspective. (This will make me think twice before I start or stretch an argument)
2. What we see is what we are. (This defines our life..perspective..thoughts)
3. When we open our mouth to describe the world, we are not describing the world, we describe ourselves. (Something to ponder about before bad mouthing anyone/any situation)
4. Language has a tremendous impact on creating paradigms. (specially true with children..parents are the first source of paradigms that deifne their lives. So, the way talk, behave infront of them..matters.)

The final effort...
It has taken over two very ..very long years since any scribbling here. Unfortunately, I did not even miss it after a point. Are you thinking what did it take for me to be back? Well...a great deal of thought, a lot of motivation from friends and colleagues, a cautious dose of courage and an iota of time from a lifetime.
Yes, I did say 'courage' for I am not sure whether I can make this final effort to revive this habit successful and continued.

A lot has happened in these two years; not just in my life but around the world. OBL is reportedly dead, Libya and rest of the middle east is torn apart, Japan's smaller than it used to be, people's movement tasted a short-lasting success in India, the politics in West Bengal, India created history with Didi in power....aaaah!
